Roughly 120 members from six Saskatchewan 4-H clubs attended the annual regional beef show.
It was the largest number of cattle ever shown at this event by members of the Beatty, Meskanaw-Ethelton, Three Lakes, Bar-West, Moose Range, and Tisdale 4-H Beef Clubs.

Once again, the sponsors and buyers were extremely supportive of the youth in the 4-H beef program. On Monday evening 92 steers sold for an average of $5.08 per pound.
Teslyn Kajner of the Meskanaw-Ethelton 4-H Beef Club had Grand Champion Steer which sold for $5.50 per pound and was purchased by Townside Enterprises Ltd.
Danica Kiefer of the Bar West 4-H Beef Club had Reserve Grand Champion Steer which sold for $5.50 per pound and was purchased by Sands Drag Hose Systems.

The 2024 Charity Project raised over $30,000 with all proceeds going to STARS.
The show was held July 7 and 8 at the Melfort Ag Society grounds.
