I got the coolest new cookbook over the weekend! Only In Saskatchewan is a cookbook written by Naomi Hansen and it is filled with recipes from all over Saskatchewan. So of course I had to attempt to make a few things from my favourite locate spots. The first recipe one I tried was the delicious Flax and Oatmeal Cookies from the Danish Home Bakery. Let me tell you I have never made softer cookies in my life. These cookies are quickly becoming one of my favourites because they are the perfect cookies to dip into a hot tea or a coffee. I can also say the cookies did not last long at all when I brought them to the station this morning. I think everyone ended up have at least 2 if not more.
Naomi Hansen’s Only In Saskatchewan is available to purchase from the Danish Home Bakery while supplies last. They have sold out once already so you definitely need to go sooner rather then later. You can also purchase it from Indigo or McNally Robinson just encase they do sell out.
